When I set out to clean up my life, I never imagined it would mean so much. I only wish that I had learned many years ago all of the things I now realize about processed, chemically-laden, fake foods and products. When I started on this journey over five years ago, I never would have guessed that I would end up where I am today.
In my younger years, I could eat anything I wanted and never worried about where it would end up on my body. I was young and today was the only day to live for. Fast forward about 30 years and boy does life throw you a curve ball. Food now finds itself lodged on my thighs and butt in a cottage cheese pattern I didn't know was possible. Rather than eating everything and anything, I now have to worry about where that food will go and how it will impact the way I feel.
I now find myself trying to eat as clean as possible. Some days are certainly easier than others. While I found myself working to clean up my food intake, I decided it was also important to get rid of all the "process" in every aspect of my life. We just don't realize how much crap is in all the things we eat and use. Start reading labels. If you can't pronounce it and you don't know what it is, it's probably not worth having. I challenge you to go "process" free for 30 days and see how you feel. You may not actually even realize how great it made you feel until the first time you decide to eat something on the other end of the spectrum. I can definitely tell the difference.
I would love to hear how your journey is going and the things you have found. Please feel free to comment below.
